On Saturday, April 30, we will start preparing the soil for planting. This event will consist of activities like spreading compost, raking, and turning soil. We will begin at 10 a.m. and work until about noon.

One of our volunteers has sourced free manure at the Sunnybrook Stables, but it must be picked up there. If any volunteer has access to a flatbed truck, and would be willing to help out with this task, please reply to [email protected]. We would also need volunteers to help with shovelling at Sunnybrook. Let us know if you would be interested. By the way, seasoned manure is not really smelly!
At their last meeting, the leadership committee decided on the work and sales shifts for this season. They are as follows:
If you will be able to volunteer weekly this season, give some thought to these times, and pick one that fits with your schedule.
See you in the garden next week!
