We will have use of the Carriage House next to the garden this year for our potluck lunch, so we will have washroom access and sinks for hand washing before lunch.

Please join us at Parkview Neighbourhood Garden for a Fall Garden Clean-up and Pot Luck Lunch. We need your help to prepare the garden for winter, then we’ll socialize with a potluck lunch.

For the potluck lunch, Please bring a food or drink item with enough to share among about 4 people. As well, please bring a container or plate, cup, and utensils with which to eat and drink. That way, we won’t leave any litter behind. We’ll each have a sampling of many flavours.

Here are some suggestions for the potluck lunch:
Green or pasta salad, raw veggies with dip, a main dish (that can be served at room temperature), sandwiches, cookies, sweets, or a beverage such as juice, punch or iced tea.
A dish from your native country is welcome.

We will have some supplies to use for serving, but please bring a serving spoon or fork, and cut items into portions beforehand if you can.

We also need your help with something else. With nearly $2500 in produce sales so far, we have already exceeded our sales figure from last year. What we haven’t exceeded are straight donations to the garden This year, we would like to significantly increase our charitable giving, and you can help us with that. The first 15 people to donate over $5 to the garden will receive a PNG logo tee shirt as a thank you.
