Scott McIvor approached our garden to place a bee nest box as part of his post-graduate studies at U of T. He gathered data from many such boxes as part of his study of indigenous bees and their behavior. He gave us a very engaging presentation arch at our annual planning and volunteer recruitment meeting.
Unfortunately our box was destroyed when a storm felled a tree in our neighbors garden. Scott cam back last week to gift us a replacement bee next box.
Scott is moving on to the faculty of Architecture at U of T where he will be combining his expertise with the green architecture movement. Thank you and Good Luck Scott !
