Our first volunteer work party of the 2025 will be held on Sunday, February 16th from 1-3 PM. We will be winter sowing cabbage, lettuce, leeks, kale, chard, pak choi and herbs for Parkview Neighbourhood Garden.

Winter sowing is the practice of planting seeds in see-through containers and leaving them outside in the snow and rain until April, when the warmer weather will have encouraged the plants to grow. We then transfer the seedlings into our garden beds and get a head start on growing.

We will not be recording community service hours for this event.
